Designer Alejandro Gomez Palomo has once again left us aw-struck with yet another wonderfully inspired collection for Palomo Spain. For Fall 2018, Gomez draws inspiration from the English countryside and 17th century portraits by Spanish artist, Velasquez of King Philip IV and his court. Combined this influence with the nobility and tradition of the monteria (Spanish term referring to a formal hunting event), and the result is a new play on proportions and heavier silhouettes than previous seasons. Using traditional English tweeds and tartans to contrast lush velvets and brocades the models donned more wearable pieces lending towards are more balanced menswear collection.
