New York Men's Day: Fall / Winter 2017

For Fall/Winter 2017 New York Men's Day featured some of the brightest emerging menswear talent and some familiar favorites.  With new comers R. Swiader, Wood House and Private Policy to Uri Minkoff, Maiden Noir and David Hart, this season's designers exhibited the full spectrum of menswear.  From colorful street-wear to red-carpet ready suiting, the options were plentiful.  This season was about ankle cropped trousers and plays on proportion. Wide slacks paired with oversized outerwear was the look this season.  Here are a few of my favorites.

New York Men's Day: Uri Minkoff, Krammer and Stoudt and Rideau

For the third consecutive season New York Men's Day has led opening day of New York Fashion Week: Men's with two group shows at Industria Super Studios. These group shows have featured up and coming designers such as Matiere, Carlos Campos, and Kenneth Ning, all of which have graduated to full scale runway productions at Skylight Clarkson Square, NYFW: Men's main venue. This afternoon NYMD featured the Spring/Summer collections of Uri Minkoff, Kramer and Stoudt, Rideau, Chapter, Private Policy, and By Robert James. It was a great group showing that got all the fashion boys buzzing with excitement for first day of runway shows tomorrow!
